All of you know that SSC Conducts CGL exam every year for recruitment of Various posts Under Group C and D category. This year (2014) SSC will be holding CGL 2014 on April 27 and may 5 , 2014 for which Graduation from a recognized University is the minimum Educational Qualification. Educational Qualification for SSC CGL 2014:

1] For Compiler post :

Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective subject.

2] For Statistical Investigator Grade – II :  Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as one of the main subjects.

3] For all other posts :

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent .
Final year students are also eligible to apply for CGL 2014.

Application Fee For SSC CGL 2014:

To fill up online application form for  SSC CGL 2014 candidate will have to pay Rs. 100/-.

Note : Who are exempted from application fee payment : All Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen.

• a) How to pay Offline : Candidates applying through offline mode  can pay the fee by means of “Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)”only at Departmental Post offices and should be pasted on the application form and got cancelled at the Counter of Post Office of issue with the date stamp.
• b) How to pay online : Candidates applying through online mode  can pay fee  through SBI Challan or online account with SBI.

Selection Process: 

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in two Tiers (Tier-I & Tier-II) of Written examination, Computer Proficiency Test, Skill test, Interview

How to Apply for SSC CGL 2014 :

If you completely satisfy the eligibility mentioned above then you can do registration for SSC CGL 2014 either through Online mode or offline mode. To apply online you have to fill application form in two stages:part 1  registration and part ii registration.
