The planned induction of advanced platforms and technology, and creation of modern infrastructure, promise to boost the capabilities of the Service even further in the near future. Indian Navy is inviting applications  from unmarried Male and Female Indian Citizens for Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer as Pilot/Observer in Aviation Cadre of Executive Branch of the Indian Navy for Course commencing June 2013 at Naval Academy.

 



INDIAN NAVY INVITES UNMARRIED MEN AND WOMEN TO JOIN THE INDIAN NAVY AS SHORT SERVICE COMMISSIONED OFFICER AS PILOT/OBSERVER FOR THE COURSE COMMENCING JUNE 2013

• Pilot for Men


• Observer for Men and Women

Scale of Pay :

•  Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.5400/-

Age Limit  :

• Between 19 to 24 years (candidates to be born between 02 July 1989 to 01 July 1994; both dates inclusive)

Qualification:

• (a) General Candidates. A graduate degree in any discipline with minimum 70% marks. Should have qualified 10+2 level with Mathematics & Physics.


• (b) CPL Holders. A graduate degree in any discipline with minimum 60% marks. Should have qualified 10+2 level with Mathematics and Physics. The candidate must beholding valid and current CPL issued by DGCA (India).

Note:- Candidates who have not completed their Degree (i.e.appearing candidates) need not apply.

Physical Standards :

• (a) Height and Weight. Minimum height for men 162.5 cms and for women 152 cms with correlated weight, leg length, sitting height and thigh length.


• (b) Eye Sight. The minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6, 6/6. Should not be colour/night blind.

Indian Navy is inviting unmarried Male Candidates of Indian nationalities to join Indian navy as  Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) - 1/2013 Batch . Indian Navy Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) - 1/2013 Batch

Invites unmarried Male Candidates for Enrolment as Sailors for Sailor - Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) - 1/2013 Batch. Course Commencing  February 2013.

Age Limit : Candidates to be born between 01 February 1992 to 31 January 1996; both dates inclusive)

Qualification Required  : 10+2 pass out can apply.

Salary:

 

• During the initial training period they will be paid Rs.5700/-PM


• On completion of initial training they will be posted in the regular pay scale of Rs.5200-20200 plus Grade Pay Rs.2000/- plus MSP Rs.2000/- plus allowances as admissible.

Selection Criteria :

Selection of recruits is based on the order of merit on their performance in Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations.

•  Written Test

(a) The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English) and objective type.

(b) The question paper will comprise offour sections i.e. English,Science, Mathematics
and General Knowledge.

(c) The standard of the question paper will be that of 10+2 and the syllabus for the
examination is available on website www.nausena-bharti.nic.in.

(d) Duration of question paper will be of one hour.

(e) The candidates are required to pass in all sections and in aggregate.

• Physical Fitness Test (PFT).

PFT will consist of 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes, 20 squat ups (Uthak Baithak) and 10 Push-ups. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk.

• Medical Standards.

(a) Medical examination will be conducted by authorised military
doctors as per medical standard prescribed in current regulations applicable to sailors
on entry.

(b) Minimum height 157 cms. Weight and Chest should be proportionate. Minimum
Chest expansion of 5 cms.

(c) Good mental, medical and physical health free fromany disease/ disability, likely to
interfere with efficient performance of duties. Colour perception: CP II.

(d) No Cardio- vascular disease, surgical deformities like knock knee, flat feet etc.
infection of ears, no history of fits or psychiatric ailment, varicose vein, corrective
surgery for eye sight etc.

(e) Medical standard should be as per the detailed guidelines issued by IHQ MoD
(Navy) in NO (Spl) 01/2008
