Educational Details:
Assistant Surgeon (General-MBBS) : MBBS degree must have been approved by the Medical Council of India or Dental Council of India.
Assistant Surgeon (Dental) : BDS Degree must have been approved by the Medical Council of India or Dental Council of India.
Age Limit: There is no Age limit for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBC&DCs, BCs, BCMs and others age limit must be 35 years for Assistant Surgeon (General-MBBS) and 30 years for Assistant Surgeon (Dental) as on 1st July 2014.
Examination Fee: candidates require to pay application fee Rs.750/- for all candidates and SC/SCA/ST candidates have to pay Rs.375/- through Indian bank Or Net banking/ Debit/Credit basis. Rs.15/- extra for banking Charges.
Selection Process: The Selection process will be made on through Written examination. Examination will be held on Chennai.
