Indian Air Force Recruitment - AFCAT 2015:: Indian Air Force invited Online applications under AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) for male and female candidates.The online application process will remain open till January 1, 2015.

Flying Branch: Graduate in any stream with minimum 60% makrs.
Technical Branch: BE/ B-Tech
For Ground Duty: Graduate degree OR PG
Age Limit:
Flying Branch: Should have age in between 20-24 years.
Technical Branch: Should have age in between 20-26 years.
Ground Duty: Should have age in between 20-26 years.
Pay and Allowances: Pay Band of 15,600 -39,100 per month along with Grade Pay, Transport Allowance and other allowances .
On successful completion of Training, the newly Commissioned Flying Officers would be entitled to approximate gross monthly emoluments in different branches including Transport Allowance of major cities as follows
(a) Flying Branch:- 74,264/-
(b) Technical Branch:- 65,514/-
(c) Ground Duty Branches :- 63,014/-
Paper Pattern: The AFCAT will be of two hours duration and will contain multiple choice questions on verbal ability, numerical ability, reasoning and general awareness.
The exam will be held at following test centres and would be allocated as per availability of seats:
Ambala, Amritsar, Allahabad, Agra, Ahmedabad, Barnala, Bathinda, Bengaluru, Belgaum, Bidar, Bagdogra, Bareilly, Chandigarh, Chabua, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Darbhanga, Goarkhpur, Gwalior, Guwahati, Halwara, Hashimara, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jalandhar, Jammu, Jorhat, Jaipur, Jamnagar, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Kakaikunda (Kharagpur), Kochi, Leh, Lucknow, Mumbai, Mohanbari, Mysore, Nal(Bikaner), Nagpur, Ojhar (Nasik), Pathankot, Patna, Pune, Port Blair, Salua (Kharagpur), Srinagar, Suratgarh, Sirsa, Saharanpur, Shilong, Silchar, Sulur (Coimbatore), Thane, Tezpur, Thanjavur, Thiruvananthapuram, Vadodar and Varanasi.
