The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi is going to conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII on 16.02.2014 (Sunday). Candidates can apply only On-line for CTET-FEB 2014 on CBSE/CTET website.
Application Fee / Examination fee and Paper Category :
The Schedule for feb 2014 Examination has been changed from the earlier CTET Examinations .The paper II now held in morning Session and Paper I in evening session .

Minimum Educational Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Stage):
Minimum Educational Qualification for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (Elementary Stage):
Pattern of Examination :
The CTET examination will be of objective type Multiple Choice Question (MCQ’s). There will be no negative marking. There will be 2 papers of CTET.
(i) Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
(ii) Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
The Application Form/Confirmation Page (also original CBSE copy of Challan, if fees paid through Bank/Post Office Challan) duly completed in all respect, should be sent to CBSE, CTET Unit, after affixing a passport size photograph and signature in the space provided, in an envelope of size 12”x9” superscribed in bold letters “APPLICATION FOR CTET-FEB 2014” by Registered/Speed Post so as to reach positively by 07.11.2013 in the CBSE office on the following address mentioned on the Computer generated Address

Central Teacher Eligibility Test– FEB 2014
Important Dates :
- Submission of On-line application : 11.10.2013 to 31.10.2013
- Last date for Online Submission of application : 31.10.2013
- Last date for receipt of Confirmation Page in CBSE, CTET Unit. : 07.11.2013

- CATEGORY : Paper – I or Paper – II Paper – I & II
- General/OBC : Rs.500/- Rs.800/-
- SC/ST/Diff. Abled : Rs.250/- Rs.400/

- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education .

- Graduation or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
