Staff Selection Commission is going to Conduct a Combined All India Open Examination on 29 dec 2013 for recruitment of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and Grade ‘D’ posts. Candidates should have Intermediate degree to apply for this exam . Eligibility criteria in detail is given below,

About Exam : Examination will comprise of a Written Objective Type Examination followed by Skill Test in Stenography at 100 w.p.m. and 80 w.p.m.for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ &’D’ respectively.
Vacancies : Vacancies of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ are in Ministries/Departments of Central Government, located mostly in Delhi.

Application Fee : Application fee is Rs 100/- .Women, SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from Fee payment . The application fee should be submitted through "Central Recruitment Fee Stamps(CRFS)"only.
Minimum Educational Qualification : Candidate must hold a intermediate degree : (10+2 ).
Age limit : Minimum 18 , maximum 27 years as on 01 August 2013.

Online registration for SSC Stenographer exam will be done by candidate in two parts : Part 1 and part II .Candidate may fill Part I Registration Upto 5 Pm on 24 10 2013 and Part II Registration upto 5 PM On 26 10 2013.
